Overall, 23 of our 42 Lincoln players made it to Sunday, playing in either a first place or third place match for singles or doubles.  This is fantastic !!
A huge thanks to all the parents who volunteered during the tournament, and thanks to the players and families who stuck it out until the end to watch the finals matches and award ceremonies.
Also thanks to the players for playing matches on Wed/Thursday during Finals week; I’m going to try my best to not let this happen next year.  I’m also going to make sure players don’t schedule other activities during the weekend next year… this was very disruptive to my ability to coach effectively, and to our ability to field our strongest team possible.

NEXT STOP - NATIONALS
We currently have 11 players headed to St. Louis for the USA Racquetball National High School Championships, to be held March 2-6.  (Maddie Patton, Cara Curley, Olivia Lanaras, Rachel Wolfard, Sam Reid, Alex Meyer, Carson Morford, Billy Dougherty, Kevin Hansen, Tyler Boadway, Andrew Lock-Harris).  If you would like to join us, please let me know ASAP.  The talent level at the HS Nationals is no higher than HS States, except that you’ll play players you’ve never seen before.  The tournament will be VERY similar to this weekend's tournament, but will include approximately 100 players from outside Oregon as well, many coming from St. Louis, Missouri.
